Dr. Jill Newell

Dr. Jill Newell is a Doctor of Chiropractic and co-owner of Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre. She grew up in Halifax, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. She then completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Dr. Newell practices a diversified approach that incorporates soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations and manipulations, kinesiotaping, exercise prescription, patient education and a number of modalities such as Laser therapy, Shockwave therapy, and IFC. Dr. Newell has completed a variety of continued education courses to help optimize patient care. She is a full body Active Release Technique provider, certified in Functional Range Conditioning, Graston technique, Rock Tape and Webster Technique (pregnancy). A patient’s treatment plan is individualized to meet each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Newell is a professional member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Nova Scotia College of Chiroprators and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). In her spare time, Dr. Newell can be found enjoying it with her family –husband Andrew, and sons Hunter and Hudson.

Dr. Kelley McVarish 186
Dr. Kelley McVarish is one of Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre’s chiropractors and co-owners. Dr. McVarish received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Originally from Sydney, she graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Biology. Dr. McVarish is a professional member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Dr. McVarish’s goal is to get her patients moving better and feeling their best. To do this, she takes a functional, biopsychosocial approach to treatment because issues in one body area have unintended consequences on others. As a result, she assesses all of her patients from head to toe. Her treatment aims to resolve her patient’s current issues, give insights on how they move and teach them how to prevent re-aggravation.
Dr. McVarish loves treating runners, prenatal and postpartum women, as well as foot issues. With all of her patients, she uses a combination of muscle work, exercise, acupuncture, gait analysis, shockwave therapy, kinesiology taping, motor control retraining and adjustments when appropriate.
Dr. McVarish enjoys her job, running, golfing and spending time with her husband and three children.

Nick Culley
Nick began his podiatry career working for an English professional soccer team and the National Health Service. He moved to Canada and worked at Toronto General Hospital and South Lake Regional Health Centre. Nick relocated to Nova Scotia seven years ago and practices in Halifax, Dartmouth and Windsor.
His podiatry practice specializes in musculoskeletal complaints. Nick is also available to provide “at risk” diabetic foot assessment. He performs a biomechanical evaluation and orthopedic testing to address your foot complaint. Treatment can include orthotics, laser, mobilization and manipulation techniques. When not treating feet, Nick is a keen walker with two pups, plays golf with a single-digit handicap and follows international soccer. He is never happier than when he has his chef’s hat on, creating a new dish to enjoy with his wife, who is also a healthcare professional.

Michele Van Zoost
Michelle received her training at ICT Northumberland College and graduated in 2010. She continued to show her commitment toward standards by completing the provincial board exams through MTANS (Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia).
Michelle combines the most enjoyable and effective elements of Swedish, deep tissue, plastic and fire cupping and sukidoo to tailor every treatment to each individual’s needs. She is also certified in RAPID neurofascial Reset for the lower limb. With her intuitive uses of gentle stretches, acupressure points and firm therapeutic pressure, her massage is deeply restorative, nurturing and refreshing.
Michelle is also passionate about pre and post natal massage incorporating a prone massage pillow. She enjoys sharing this special and sacred time in a woman’s life while easing the pain and discomfort that is often associated with the rapidly changing body. Lisa Beck is a clinical social worker who works with people of all ages to overcome mental health and emotional issues to help them resume an optimal level of functioning in daily life, employment and interpersonal relationships. Lisa holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a registered social worker with additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Transhealth, Play Therapy, Theraplay and Triple P Parenting Program. Lisa believes all people have the capacity to grow, change and lead a more fulfilling life when provided with the right combination of support and skill development. Her primary orientation is cognitive behavioural which focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviours, improving emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Lisa is currently employed by the Nova Scotia Health Authority as a clinical therapist on working with Children and Youth in schools. She has worked as a social worker since 2001 and her employment history includes working for Kinark Child and Family Services and private practice in Barrie, Ontario and in private practice in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Sara Lyttle

Sara Lyttle is a graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.
She customizes each individual treatment based on a detailed assessment which incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic methods. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in establishing an optimal balance in all states of well-being through acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha and moxibustion. Sara’s interest in exploring other cultures led her on a ten year global journey in which she discovered a diverse holistic awareness of natural healing. She lived in China for five years where she developed a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Jenny (Genevieve) Connolly DC
Dr. Jenny Connolly is one of Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre’s chiropractors. She was born and raised in Newfoundland, where she graduated with a bachelor of physical education from Memorial University. She continued her education in Toronto where she received her doctorate at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Connolly is currently a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Connolly is experienced in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She utilizes an evidence-based and individualized approach to patient care. Her treatment methods include manual and soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, exercise prescription and patient education. Dr. Connolly is continuously building her clinical skills and is certified in Functional Range Conditioning, Functional Range Release and Instrument assisted soft tissue therapy.
In her spare time, Dr. Connolly enjoys running, playing sports, and spending time with her fiancé and their puppy Ollie. Maggen Kelly

Maggen is Registered Massage Therapist who graduated in 2006 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She is certified member of the Massage Therapist Association on Nova Scotia (MTANS). Upon graduation of the 2280 hour program, she completed the comprehensive practicum of Neurological conditions outreach program gaining experience working with clients that have neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. After graduation, Maggen began her career off working in a spa but then realized her passion was working in a clinic in conjunction with a chiropractor.
Maggen has had the opportunity and experience of working in a clinic setting for the last eleven years. She offers and specializes in treating therapeutic, deep tissue, acute and chronic pain as well as relaxation massage by utilizing Swedish, myofacial release, manual lymph drainage, neurological inhibition, active release and stretching techniques to help relieve pain, treat injuries, reduce stress, anxiety, depression and increase relaxation. Maggen has a passion for massage therapy and truly enjoys treating her patients and helping them on their path to gaining better health. She enjoys continuing to learn new methods and techniques to help provide her patients with effective treatments.

Ramona Wright

Ramona graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in June 2011. While at the CCMH, Ramona focused on the treatment of chronic pain outreach clinics.
Ramona continued her love of knowledge and education in 2015 when she returned to school to begin her study of osteopathy. She has since finished the five years of class time. She is now focusing on her thesis to complete the program and receive her Diploma of Osteopathy.
Ramona uses her knowledge and many modalities to figure out the root cause of the pain and not just treat its symptoms.
Ramona uses a variety of deep tissue work, myofascial release, Swedish techniques along with and joint mobilizations to help her patients recover from strains, sprains, postural imbalances, headaches and more.

Jennifer Delaney
Jennifer is a graduate of ICT Northumberland college, class of 2004, in Massage therapy. She began working at Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre in September 2005.
Jennifer is also certified in acupuncture and is currently enrolled to complete her studies in health coaching and is a registered holistic nutrition practitioner. She treats a variety of conditions and injuries but has a special interest in motor vehicle accidents and work-related incidents. She loves working with people that require trigger point treatment and conditions related to chronic pain. She also has extra training in myofacial release abs pregnancy/infancy massage.
